The bar scene was not included in the rough opening scene due to the lack of having a bar available to use at school. This made us create a chase scene for our task instead of a dialogue based scene. Even though we could have just used a table and a chair to recreate the scene, its just that we didn't think we could get a real bar for the real filming, so we have decided to forfeit the idea of the bar scene, and replace it with maybe a small drinking scene or one of the main protagonist pouring himself a drink to symbolise stress in his emotion.

Audience Profiling: Old Noir vs New Noir
This blog is about knowing the difference between the original 1900's Film Noirs and the newer large box office mass audience Film Noirs produced in the 2000's.
This research is opening my eyes to the new and the old Noir films which allows me to see which time period I could select in my film creation project.

The Demographics and Psychographics in Media
This blogs shows the difference between the Demographics and Psychographics off audiences of the media. This difference gives media creators that are targeting an audience to narrow it down to Demographics, or Psychographics depending on what is best for the certain project.
I have done this research to help me in finding my target audience for my Film Noir which I am yet to create.

Analysis: Redada Film Poster
I have analysed Radada's film poster and how what is shown on the poster could connote what the audience should expect in the film, what genre it is, some of the main themes in the film and the actors and actresses staring in the film.
I have done this to practice for my analysing skills and also to gain knowlege on original Noir posters and reflect some of the unique selling points of these genre of posters into my poster.
Film Noir: Its Origins
This blog is similar to the History of Noir blog, however it goes into more detail on where and why the genre of Film Noir was born and grew.
This research allows me to access the moods and the emotions that Noir was built upon and eventually use them in my Noir and hopefully mimic the original Films.
What I learnt from this was that the Films were mainly cheaply made and made quickly when Film Noir was first recognised as a genre, and also theres a heavy black a white theme shot in night time too. These are things I can apply in my own Noir Opening scene.
Film Noir: Its History
This blog shows the history of Film Noir as a genre and where it stands nowadays in and amongst the many hundreds of genres of film.
I created this blog to gain more knowledge of the backstory of the genre and why it exists due to interest purposes. But also to get an idea of how I could implement any of its history into my film opening to really make it a classic representation of the Film Noir genre.
The main thing I learned from this research was that the Noir Genre is one of the first genres in film history due to it being so early created next to the creation of film in the late 1890's, therefor has a-lot of emotion involved in the genre which I wish to create.

VoiceThread blog: The common codes and conventions of opening scenes in Film
In this Voice Thread video, I talk about the many codes and conventions in the opening scenes of films that depict its genre. For example the Title of the film, the title introduction sequence for the companies that produced the films, the mise-en-scene of the opening scene, the sound, so music, ambient sound and dialogue, enigma codes, etc.
I have created this blog to give myself in-depth ideas and techniques to follow or avoid whilst making my opening scene to a film Noir.
I have learnt the font used in the movie title, character introduction and also the sounds presented is very important to get perfectly right, due to these being some of the most memorable features of films for audiences.

Camera Shot types: Used in Film
This mind map is depicting the many camera shot types used in film and other media.
I will most definitely be using most of these shots in my productions to come due to them some of these shots representing different genres.
By creating this mind map I was inspired to take a new profile picture, and as you can see on my profile, it is a medium close up.
