In this Voice Thread video, I talk about the many codes and conventions in the opening scenes of films that depict its genre. For example the Title of the film, the title introduction sequence for the companies that produced the films, the mise-en-scene of the opening scene, the sound, so music, ambient sound and dialogue, enigma codes, etc.
I have created this blog to give myself in-depth ideas and techniques to follow or avoid whilst making my opening scene to a film Noir.
I have learnt the font used in the movie title, character introduction and also the sounds presented is very important to get perfectly right, due to these being some of the most memorable features of films for audiences.
