This blog is similar to the History of Noir blog, however it goes into more detail on where and why the genre of Film Noir was born and grew.
This research allows me to access the moods and the emotions that Noir was built upon and eventually use them in my Noir and hopefully mimic the original Films.
What I learnt from this was that the Films were mainly cheaply made and made quickly when Film Noir was first recognised as a genre, and also theres a heavy black a white theme shot in night time too. These are things I can apply in my own Noir Opening scene.
